Are there any Overview Sheets I can print out?

1. All 40 Breakout Sessions:  Download the Breakout Overview

Is there anything we should do to prepare ahead of time?

Yes!  We’re glad you asked.  We realize this is a big time commitment to attend, for you and potentially a large team. With that in mind, we encourage you to take some time to think through *how* you’re going to attend and be sure that you take advantage of all that you’ll be soaking in!

Before the Conference:
  • Get together with those from your parish who are attending, does everyone know each other?
  • What is one thing each person is excited about?
  • What do you hope to learn or take away when you leave?
During the Conference:
  • Will you have lunch together with your team?  Or will you each spread out to meet people from other parishes?
  • Where will you gather after the first day’s event?  Do you have dinner reservations for Monday night with your team?
  •  Be sure to take time to discuss what sessions you attended.  What did you learn?  Where did the Holy Spirit move you during the main sessions?
  • Review your notes with your team and share the action steps you committed to take once you return home.
Following the Conference
  • Schedule a dinner – get it on the calendar now! – to follow up and keep yourselves accountable.
  • What do you want to focus on from July 1, 2025- June 30, 2026?
  • What are 3 initial steps/low hanging fruit you want to implement now?
  • If you personally were focused on one specific topic during the conference, don’t forget to come up out of the deep dive and look at the full big picture…  eg. How does the Next Gen direction relate to the rest of the parish’s mission and initiatives?  If you were soley focused on leadership or ministers topics, how will changes impact the full staff, the full team of ministers, and the feel for all of the parishioners?
  • Where do you want to see your parish in one year from now?

Take time NOW to prepare and make sure that the inspiration and tools you receive at the conference don’t get lost back in the normal shuffle of work!

Travel Info: transportation & conference location

The Rebuilt Conference is being held at and hosted by our home parish, Church of the Nativity, located in Timonium, Maryland, about 20 minutes north of Baltimore.

Church of the Nativity
20 E Ridgely Rd
Timonium, MD 21093

Getting to Nativity:

By Car: Nativity is minutes off of I-695 and I-83 with plenty of parking on campus.

By Air: Baltimore Washington International (BWI) is 30 minutes away. There will be plenty of Ubers that can take you to and from the airport.

By Train: Amtrak Baltimore Station is 20 minutes away.

Airport to Nativity – Public Transportation:

If you’d like to take public transportation instead of an Uber/ Taxi from the airport, there is low cost ($2.00) Light Rail service every 1/2 hour or so, from the BWI Airport Light Rail Station to the Lutherville Light Rail Station.  This station is on Ridgely Road is about 4 suburban sidewalk blocks from Nativity.  (visit their website for full details and schedules)
After you get your baggage from baggage claim (if you have no checked luggage, go to baggage claim anyway, as it is near the Light Rail Station) face the floor-to-ceiling windows that have vehicle traffic outside of them.  Raise your right arm to shoulder level and point.  Walk in the pointed direction until you reach the end of the airport terminal.  The Light Rail Station begins where the airport terminal ends.  Take any Hunt Valley train and get off at the Lutherville Light Rail Station.  When you exit the train, turn right and follow the platform to where the ticket machines are located.  That is the beginning of Ridgley Road.  Walk two blocks to the traffic light, which is York Road.  Cross York, the clearly marked entrance to Nativity is on your left, just passed the Walgreens.
Where should we stay while attending the conference?

A few close by hotel options are:

Holiday Inn
Hampton Inn
Sheraton

Please note to get back and forth from the hotels to the conference, that you may choose to use Uber or we suggest sharing rides with those who may have rented a car or driven themselves.  There is plenty of parking on Nativity’s campus!
